Abby Pence is a poet, fiction writer, and author of the soon-to-be-released paranormal thriller, Sketch. 

A lifelong fan of horror—she was caught reading Stephen King under the covers with a flashlight at age seven—Abby has spent the last several years crafting Sketch with the eerie atmosphere she loves most. 

A finalist in the 2019 Royal Palm Literary Awards and longtime member of the Florida Writers Association, she draws inspiration from the untamed beauty and buried secrets of Old Florida, her chosen home. 

When she’s not writing, you’ll find her outside with a cold beer and her favorite people, snuggled up with her three dogs, or geeking out over backyard bird cam footage.
